I Teach Seasonal Yoga

Seasonal Yoga is based on Hatha Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine using the 5 Elements Framework for health and wellbeing. Working with nature to bring our body and mind into balance we practice Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Qigong, Meditation and Yoga Nidra as relevant.

The classes tend towards the therapeutic side as I bring in some practices from my Shiatsu training and experience.

You can expect invigorating dynamic flows in the warmer months to relaxing restorative yoga in the winter months. In a typical class you will experience some form of flow, qigong, meditation, yoga nidra breath work and relaxation. Most people leave feeling more stretched out with their energy balanced and in a state of calm.

Seasonal yoga is more than just tailoring the classes to suit the seasons though. We practice in harmony with nature so learning to let go in the Autumn and embrace growth in the spring for example. It’s more about a way of living in harmony and being in tune with our body and mind at any given time. Our energy is always moving so we learn to be aware of what’s happening within us to keep us balanced.

If you are a beginner then you are more than welcome to come along as I guide throughout the class and give modifications where necessary. Likewise the classes are suitable for more experienced yogis too.
