Late Summer is a time for coming back down to earth. It is the transition time between the Yang of the summer and the Yin of autumn. The focus is on grounding, core, inner strength and self esteem.

In yoga we focus on the front of the body for example Bow, and leg strengthening poses and  ones that bring you back to your centre and help ground yourself. Grounding Breathwork and meditations.

Meridians

The stomach meridian runs from the top side of the head and cheekbone all the way down the front of the body and legs and ends in the middle toe.

The spleen meridian runs from the inside of the big toe up the inside of the foot and behind the shin then the inside front of the leg all the way up the front outside of the torso and ending a few inches under the armpit.
